Russian Defense Ministry slammed Ukraine on Monday for continuing to target its energy infrastructure even though it promised not to.

"Contrary to [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky's statements, including those conveyed to the American side, the Kiev regime continues to deliberately plan, prepare and carry out attacks on energy infrastructure, including internationally, on the territory of Russia," the ministry said in a statement.

Currently, Russian and United States officials are holding talks on the potential implementation of a ceasefire between Moscow and Kiev.
