North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stressed on Wednesday that the alliance must come up with an adequate and well-supported framework for itself and Ukraine that will "send a message to Russia" that it "can't win the war."
Speaking to reporters ahead of the meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, Stoltenberg insisted that Russia is receiving a "significant amount" of weapons from North Korea and Iran, which is why the organization must equip Ukraine with appropriate methods to respond. He said the ministers will talk about a "multi-year financial commitment" to maintain stable support for Ukraine.
Furthermore, Stoltenberg insisted that Ukraine will join NATO, describing that as a "question of when, not if."
