Tesla Inc. will present its humanoid robot Tesla Bot, also known as Optimus, at a Capitol Hill event dedicated to robotics, Axios reported on Tuesday, citing invitations sent to United States congressmen.

The symposium will be held at the Cannon House Office building on Wednesday. Optimus was previously displayed at several of Tesla's events.

Previously, Tesla Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk announced that the electric vehicle (EV) company will start using humanoid robots by 2025. Later, he expressed his hopes that Tesla will manufacture "several thousand" units of Optimus by the end of 2025. Finally, Musk recently stated that Optimus will be carried to Mars onboard SpaceX's Starship.
