United Nations (UN) Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini announced on Friday that the humanitarian organization was forced to halt "services to the communities in several camps" in West Bank because of the recent operations of the Israeli army.

"Tens of thousands of people in four refugee camps have been impacted by this operation, including through destruction of public and private infrastructure … It is time to reach a political solution to this decades-long conflict to end the suffering of civilians wherever they are," Lazzarini stressed on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Israeli military operation and the constant violence against Palestinians by Israeli settlers have caused Turkey, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the United Nations to condemn Israeli actions.
