United Boeing 787 forced to land after turbulence

A United Airlines Boeing 787 was forced to make an emergency landing at New York Stewart International Airport following "extreme turbulence." The plane was flying from Tel Aviv and was headed to Newark.

Out of 312 passengers on board, 22 were hurt, seven of whom were hospitalized with minor injuries, according to the emergency services. It is currently unclear whether other factors contributed to the incident.
