Major Wall Street stock markets traded higher during premarket trading on Monday as the United States and Russia's delegations started negotiations in Riyadh regarding a potential ceasefire for the conflict in Ukraine. Investors also anticipated the report on the S&P Global Composite Purchasing Managers Index (PMI), showing the private-business activity in the US.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed by 0.80% at 4:28 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 jumped by 1.23% at the same time. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 rose by 0.94% at 4:29 am ET.
The euro gained 0.35% against the dollar at 4:30 am ET and sold for $1.08534.
