White House National Security Adviser Mike Waltz spoke to Fox News about a group chat between key Washington officials discussing US strikes against Houthis, which was accidentally leaked to editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg. Waltz echoed the administration's claims that "no classified information was shared" in the chat, acknowledging a mistake was made.
Despite the error, Waltz emphasized that the team moving at "Trump speed" to address key challenges inherited from the Biden administration, including issues in the Middle East and at the US border.
Waltz also denied ever meeting Goldberg, further distancing himself from the situation.
