A Boeing 737 carrier made an emergency landing during its Krasnoyarsk-Blagoveshchens flight, successfully managing to ground the airplane in the city of Chita, RIA Novosti reported on Tuesday.
According to Russian media, the emergency landing was due to a "technical reason," while there were 172 passengers onboard.
The day before, the company's Chief Executive Officer Dave Calhoun announced his resignation from Boeing amid the ongoing scrutiny of its safety following the door plug blowout mid-air on Alaska Airlines Flight 1282, operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 9.
