Major stock indexes on Wall Street turned to losses in the last premarket session of the week on Friday as the fears surrounding Federal Reserve's future policy moves and the volatility in the banking sector seemed to catch up with the investors.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted 0.94% or 300 points at 6:13 am ET, as the Nasdaq 100 dropped by 0.55% and the S&P 500 plunged by 0.90%.
The euro traded 0.96% lower against the dollar to change hands for 1.07333 at 6:15 am ET.
