The Norwegian government decided to give Ukraine F-16 fighter jets, Norwegian TV2 reported on Thursday, citing informed sources.

The report comes amid Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store's visit to Kiev and Oslo's announcement of a donation of IRIS-T anti-aircraft missiles and demining equipment to Ukraine.

Over the weekend, Denmark and the Netherlands became the first countries to agree to donate American-made F-16s to Ukraine. Russia has since condemned the move, warning it will escalate the conflict.
