Markets closed lower on Tuesday after investors continued analyzing the latest earnings reports from Home Depot Inc. and Walmart Inc. Marketers are also awaiting Rivian and Nvidia which will release their performance for the recent quarter on Wednesday.
The Nasdaq 100 remained in the red zone at closing losing 0.79% with The Trade Desk Inc. nosediving 7.16%. The Dow Jones decreased 0.17% with Caterpillar Inc. going down 2.62%. The S&P 500 fell 0.60% as Expeditors International of Washington pulled the index down by dropping 6.92% at closing.
The euro traded flat against the dollar at 3:59 pm ET to sell for $1.08088.
