The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Sunday that its troops used helicopters and fighter jets to shoot down an unidentified aircraft that had entered Israeli airspace, allegedly from Syria.
This comes after Syrian media reports accused Israel of carrying out airstrikes against the country several times in the last few days.
Earlier on Sunday, reports from Syrian state media alleged that Israeli airstrikes had struck several locations in Syria's Homs province, wounding five soldiers.
