Steve Bannon, the former advisor to ex-United States President Donald Trump, was ordered on Thursday by a judge to go to jail after his bail was revoked.

US District Judge Carl Nichols ordered Bannon to report to prison by July 1 to start serving his four-month sentence. He was previously found guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress back in 2022 when he refused to comply with the committee's subpoenas related to the January 6 riots.

In May, an appeals court upheld the conviction.
