The Mobile World Congress (MWC) annually held in Barcelona will take place this year from June 28 through July 1 as planned, the event's organizers confirmed on Thursday.
While the event was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, Spanish authorities approved the plan according to which more than 400 conference speakers will be physically present during this year's show.
MWC Barcelona stands for a trade show organized by GSMA that is dedicated to the mobile communications industry. Next to Barcelona, similar events are held yearly in Los Angeles and Shanghai.
