French President Emmanuel Macron (pictured) will announce on Monday a set of policy changes agreed after two months of public debates prompted by the Yellow Vests movement, AFP reported.
According to the report, Macron will present "first concrete measures" that will be taken following more than 10,000 debates held across the country and some two million comments made online in a televised speech on Monday evening. One of Macron's aides said that "profound changes" in Macron's policy can be expected.
French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said earlier that debates showed that the government needs to "lower taxes and lower them faster."
