Russian Foreign Minister spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Thursday that Ukraine has already violated a ceasefire proposed by United States President Donald Trump by attacking a Russian energy facility and raised doubts about whether Washington would be able to control the regime in Kiev.

"How the American side will continue to deal with this mad terrorist scum, forgive me, is the big question" Zakharova stated in an interview with Russia's Channel One. "The question is how the creators will be able to control their monstrous creation," she added.

Zakharova's comments come after Ukraine's forces attacked a Russian energy facility in the village of Kavkazskaya in the Krasnodar region after Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to an energy ceasefire proposed by Trump.
