Former United States President Donald Trump called for the recusal of Judge Juan Merchan who is currently presiding over his New York hush money case.
Trump claimed on Thursday in a post on Truth Social that Merchan is "compromised" due to his daughter, Loren Mechan, being a "rabid Trump hater." Loren holds the position of president and partner at Authentic Campaigns, a digital marketing agency, which, according to Trump, is being used by US President Joe Biden, US Vice President Kamala Harris and "radical leftists."
"Dismiss this ridiculous non-case," the former president wrote.
