United States President Joe Biden will speak at an "appropriate time" with Saudi Arabia's King Salman as the American head of state sees him as his counterpart, and not Salman's son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, also known as MbS, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki (pictured) revealed on Tuesday.
Biden's administration will be looking to "recalibrate" its relationship with the kingdom, Psaki noted, adding that the US will nevertheless continue to work with Riyadh as it is "defending" itself from regional "threats."
She reiterated that Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will talk "soon," noting that the US administration is fully engaged with its colleagues from Israel, especially in the area of security.
