Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in a press briefing on Monday that the Western arms supply to Ukraine won't have much significance in the ongoing war, affirming "this supply will not be able to change anything."

Instead, he stated that weapon support to Kiev would "deepen the suffering of the Ukrainian people."

The White House recently announced a new $3.8 billion arms aid package, as Ukrainian forces are set to start Patriot missile system training this month. On the other hand, it was recently learned by the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defense that since June 2022, the Russian army has "almost certainly" been using the most advanced fifth-generation supersonic combat jets against Ukraine.
