Slovakia joins Poland, Hungary in Ukraine grain ban

Slovakia temporarily banned imports of Ukrainian grain on Monday due to concerns about potential damage to their domestic markets.

The move follows the lead of Poland and Hungary which previously halted imports of Ukrainian grain citing the need to protect domestic farmers and drawing criticism from the European Commission and Russia alike.

Meanwhile, Bratislava today announced it delivered all of the 13 MiG fighter jets to Kiev to support its war effort.
