The United Nations Security Council will convene a meeting on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine on December 6, unidentified sources told RIA Novosti on Monday.
"The meeting was requested by Mexico and France. It is scheduled for Tuesday morning," the news agency cited sources.
Last month, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky requested an emergency meeting of the council as the tensions across the region intensified following airstrikes in the country that caused severe damage to the vital energy infrastructure in Ukraine.
