A vote of no confidence in United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to be announced in the morning on Monday, ITV News reported.

The announcement will be made by Graham Brady, the chairman of the 1922 Committee, the parliamentary group of Johnson's Conservative Party in the House of Commons. The confirmation of a no-confidence vote would mean that at least 15% of Tories in the parliament have asked for the vote to take place.

Johnson has faced increased criticism even from his fellow Conservatives after the "partygate" scandal.
